We’ll be part of the resource and information fair at High Point again this year. Here is the preliminary info that we have from the organizers.
Third Annual West Seattle Bee Festival
Commons Park on May 16, 2015.
The festivities will start with the Honey Run around High Point Pond at 9am. Kids will get their faces painted and make crepe paper costumes for themselves and pets to look like bees and flowers at 10am so that they can join the Bee Parade around Commons Park at 11am.
The Information Fare will start at 11:30. It will be held in the parking lot of Neighborhood House.
The first round (of three) of the Lunchbox Cook Off will start at 11:30 and the Bee-Ball Tournament will start at noon. Music will fill the park throughout the day and everyone will be welcome at the Bee Enclosure for a tour. We’ll start breaking down at around 2pm.
